In the native apps, you have the option of ignoring SSL certificates altogether. If your app complains when you hit a URL with an invalid certificate (when using a different CNAME, for example), you might want to give this a go.
SSL certificate verificationsetting to Off.
Warning: Be sure to toggle this setting back on once you’re done testing the URL in question. In the Off state, your app (and your API calls) are open to any number of attacks.
